Learn to build a player from the ground up

Two days on court with Coach Bucher. You get the whole Peak Tennis method — every stroke, how points are actually won, the order to build it in — and you leave with a written 12-month plan for your player.

Who it's for

Two rooms, one method

Parents

You are your kid's first coach

You drive to every practice and watch every match. Leave able to see what is actually wrong, say it in one sentence, and feed a session that fixes it.

The curriculum

Three things you learn

01

Every stroke, taken apart

Serve, forehand, backhand, volley, overhead, slice, return. Grip, unit turn, contact point, finish — the checkpoints we coach to and the two errors that cause most of them.

4 hrs on court
02

How the game is won

Patterns, court position, score awareness, the three balls that decide most points. What to say between games — and what to never say from the fence.

2 hrs on court · 1 hr room
03

The build order

What to train at 8, at 12, at 16, and what to leave alone. Practice ratios, match volume, recruiting timelines, and how a scholarship file actually gets read.

Questions

Asked before
you ask

Still unsure? Mail workshop@peaktennis.com and a coach answers, not a form.

Do I need to play tennis? +

No. Half the on-court work is feeding, watching and correcting. If you can walk a court for three hours you are fine.

Can my child come? +

No — this one is adults only. Parents and coaches learn faster without their players watching, and the on-court work needs you holding the racquet.

How much of it is actually on court? +

7 hours across the two days, in 2 to 3 hour blocks. The rest is video, whiteboard and building your plan.

What do I bring? +

Court shoes, a racquet, water bottle, and a hat. Balls, courts and the method book are included.

Is this the same thing you teach your own players? +

Yes. Same progression, same technical checkpoints, same testing numbers we hold academy players to.

Will this help with college recruiting? +

Sunday afternoon covers recruiting timelines, what coaches look at, and how a file gets read. It is a map, not a guarantee.

What if I cancel? +

Full refund up to Feb 1, 2027. After that the seat transfers to someone you name, or the next workshop.

Where is it? +

Peak Tennis, Courts 1 to 4, with indoor backup. Full address and parking go out with your confirmation.
